AIR - TRANSPORT EUROPE, Ltd. has been on the Slovak air market since 1991. During the whole 20-year period it has been providing its services in the field of air rescue (HEMS) and aviation industry. ATE headquarters in Poprad along with operational centers in Bratislava, Nitra, Trenčín, Žilina, Banská Bystrica and Košice employ over 100 people.
ATE currently provides Helicopter Emergency Medical Service as a private healthcare provider based on the license granted by the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic. Within the aviation industry the company provides the following services:
- Helicopter Service Center: Helicopter maintenance and repairs, Organization is certified in compliance with Aviation Regulations, Part 145, Agusta and Eurocopter Subdivisions, MIL Helicopters
- Trading Division: spare parts supply, consultation service and inspections for customers buying spare parts from different suppliers
- Air crew training in own flight training center
